This page lists the cookies and similar tools this website uses, based on how the site is built. We do not use an advertising network, and we do not store data in your browser with local storage or session storage.

Manager sign-in cookie

Name: bbh_host

This cookie is set only when the house manager signs in at the private calendar. Guests who browse, enquire, or book do not get it.

It lasts 7 days, or until the manager signs out.
It is HTTP-only, so page scripts cannot read it.
SameSite is Lax. In production it is only sent over HTTPS.
It holds a signed session id for that sign-in. It does not hold a guest name, email, phone, or card.

Vercel Web Analytics

Every page loads Vercel Web Analytics. That tool does not set a cookie on this site. It sends a page view to Vercel: the page address, the referring page, and a general browser and device type. We use it to see which pages are used. We do not use it to advertise, and we do not combine it with your booking record.

Vercel hosts the site in the United States, so that page-view data is processed there. See the Privacy Policy.

Stripe

Paying, and the $300 bond hold, happen on Stripe’s checkout. Stripe may set its own cookies on Stripe’s website to run the payment and to limit fraud. Those cookies are Stripe’s. We do not read them and we do not store them. Your card number stays with Stripe.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies.
No cookie from this site that follows you around the web.
No local storage and no session storage for bookings or analytics.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the manager cookie only affects sign-in to the private calendar. Blocking cookies on Stripe’s site can stop a payment from completing.
